This, the original Turtle, is an obscenely strong table. Handsome too, of course. The strength comes from the 7-gauge folded steel base, visually lightweight but solid as a helipad. And the handsome good looks? They could come from the happy marriage of wood and powder-coated steel; or maybe from the nimble athleticism of the shapes; or maybe those perfectly balanced proportions. But really, beauty is beauty; what difference does it make where it comes from?

This Turtle has a kink in its top. The thinking there is that it makes an otherwise square dinner party anything but. Everyone is opened up to face everyone else, helping to grease the conversational skids. But if your skids need no greasing and you’d like a straight-up rectangle, no worries. We can do straight rectangles. Just give us a ring and we’ll prove it.
